Webcam Introduction Back
We completed our move on the 8th January 2007 into our new 40,000 sq ft warehouse and office complex. Due to popular demand we've invested in some higher quality, security standard cameras for your enjoyment.
How It Works
Attaining the Earthcam 'Top 10 Award' in both May 2005 and January 2006, our webcams are active 24/7/365. The photo images are uploaded to this server via FTP each and every 5 seconds, every day. This page should refresh and you therefore see a new photo at every 5 second interval or so. If the image does not refresh, hold down your 'shift' button and click the 'refresh' icon on your browser.
Our streaming video cam serves data direct from the in-built web server in real time. If you are a first time viewer, you may need to install the Axis Media Control ActiveX viewer to view live image streams in Microsoft Internet Explorer. To do this, when prompted, simply download and install the viewer. If all you see are black images, it's night, we've turned off the lights and we've all gone home!
Our cameras are located in the packing and shipping areas in the warehouse. You should see a hive of activity during the working day. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm with lunch between 12.30pm and 1.30pm. You never know, your order could be being processed as you watch!
Take a ganders at this page during the month of October to witness the Halloween season in full swing. It is a sight to behold. Also, remember to pay a visit at Christmas, if there is enough demand, we'll dress them up as Elves for you!
These cameras are placed within two corner aspects of our sales and customer services office, where you will see any of the Sales and Customer Service staff buzzing around or on the telephones taking your call. If you're on the phone to us, ask your agent to give you a wave! Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 08.30am to 5.00pm.
These two images are from the same camera in our reception area. The camera on the left uploads every few seconds as above, though the second image on the right does show who was the last person to pass by the camera. So if you're coming to collect an order, don't forget to smile :-)
